Junior Tigers Program – Term 3 2016 Review
With Term 3 behind us, hopefully we see the end of the wet weather we encountered. The parents and children were very patient, allowing the coaches to do make up sessions for the time lost due to the poor weather.
In exciting times going forward, term 3 saw the opening of the Orange Course at Glenelg Golf Club (see score card and review in this newsletter). This course will be available for Glenelg Golf Club Junior Cub and Junior Cadet members to play after school and on weekends.
In an effort to provide increased access and diversity to our JTGP, we have added a Saturday afternoon clinic to our schedule. The Tiger Cub clinics will run along the same lines as our Sunday and Wednesday clinics with registration through the My Golf website www.mygolf.org.au.
The Saturday clinic will hopefully add another avenue to golf for those who play other sports on Wednesday afternoon or Sunday morning.
Keep an eye out for scores from training sessions, these will be available soon to see how your child is progressing.
We look forward to seeing you and some sunshine in term 4.
Good golfing from the coaching team at Glenelg Golf Club – Adrian Wickstein, Sarah King, Sam Hughes, Gareth Jones and Shane Robinson.
